When I first experienced the iPad and Apple Pencil combo in 2019, I was amazed. I never quite got the hang of using a mouse with Photoshop or tablets like the Wacom ones.
Creating on a tablet finally feels natural and more personal. While digital tools will never replace the smell of art supplies, the excitement of setting up a fresh canvas, or the pure joy of creating something with your hands and getting messy, the results come pretty close! I use Procreate and am currently enjoying experimenting with patterns and collages.
